WE'RE PROUD TO SAY THAT 100% OF WHAT WE RECEIVE GOES BACK TO MINISTRY
It's one thing to say that you're in business to serve youth pastors, but it's quite another to say that your beginning & end goal is ministry.
YouthResource.net is ran by a small team of pastors who are in trenches leading youth ministries and church planting. We don't have big budgets by sending churches, but work bi-vocationally as we reach out to our communities.
Outside of our own churches, we extend our gifts to other people who serve people.
Here's what you're currently sharing in:

MISSIO DEI - OCEAN BEACH
Ocean Beach is a phenomenal ecclectic community in one of San Diego’s costal communities.
In December 2007, Jessica and I drove in to Ocean Beach to go to a natural store and fell in love with the place. I wasn’t a newcomer to Ocean Beach myself. I could take you to the very rocks where I stood about 10 years ago and gave my life to Christ as much as I trusted God at the time.
On a windy afternoon, Jessica and I (with Jadyn in tow) encountered the presence of God in a surprising place - Hodad’s a burger restaurant on the main drag on Newport (which by far has one of the most amazing burgers I’ve ever tasted. Chomping down on one is almost a sacred experience in and of itself).
Sitting in the car is an experience like that of being an orangutan in a cage at the zoo. Everyone's staring at you wondering what you're going to do next. I think a few people took pictures.

We found ourselves dreaming outloud about living in the place (Ocean Beach not Hodad’s) and reaching out to the community. At the time we were on a 3 year church planting timetable. But I’m ecstatic that God moved the timetable up on us.
We finally moved in to Ocean Beach one week before Christmas 2008 spending our“free” time getting to know the neighbors and allowing God to continue transforming us into people who can exist for the people in this community.
In addition to Missio Dei, we are supporting one other church plant in the San Diego area.

THE NIAPELE PROJECT
The Niapele Project’s mission is to promote sustainable strategies for the empowerment of vulnerable refugee children, through the development of community-based initiatives. The Niapele Project aims to have direct, meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable refugee children. We achieve this by working in partnership with communities, assisting them to fulfill the needs they have identified, through the development and implementation of initiatives that aim to create the necessary conditions for children to move beyond survival and thrive.
